The centuries old tradition of spinning and weaving wool are deeply rooted into the tradition and culture of the people residing on the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland. Although the people of the Isle of Harris have been weaving tweed for countless generations, the official trademarking of “Harris Tweed” in the early 20th century ensured that anything bearing the name of Harris Tweed would be guaranteed to meet the precedent standard that the weavers of this fabric pride themselves on. All Harris Tweed is made using 100% pure new wool and woven strictly on manual powered loops carrying the old traditions into the modern era. 

Our Harris Tweed CPO Jacket is a nod to the classic European heritage that is often associated with this world renowned cloth. Built with details reminiscent of early chore/hunting coats, we chose details such as large and easily accessible dump pockets as well as corduroy facings to add comfort to high friction areas. Traditional CPO style chest pockets are what give this piece its name with  the contemporary addition of a secondary cutaway pocket perfect for stowing away your readers or sunglasses. Finished with our custom corozo buttons, this piece was intended to be a versatile yet stylish piece that can accompany you church, hunting for quail, and everything in-between.
