The Calico Short Sleeve in Desert Stripe from Freenote Cloth is a lightweight western-inspired shirt built for warm-weather wear.

Cut from a custom 3oz cotton-silk poplin stripe fabric sourced from Japan, the material has a smooth, airy feel with a subtle softness and sheen from the silk blend. The desert stripe pattern adds understated texture and depth while maintaining a clean, easygoing look.

Classic western detailing includes pearl barrel snaps from Japan, while a bone fisheye button with enamel fill from Italy finishes the collar with a refined contrast. Freenote’s signature 1/8" double-needle stitching reinforces the construction, and selvedge detailing at the gussets adds a subtle nod to traditional garment manufacturing.

Rinsed and preshrunk for comfort from the start, the shirt is sewn in the USA from a blend of 92% cotton and 8% silk. The Calico Short Sleeve balances lightweight comfort, elevated fabric, and thoughtful craftsmanship in a versatile seasonal piece.
