LK-003 John Lofgren Wabash Engineer Boots- Black Horween CXL
The LK-003 Wabash Engineer Boots from John Lofgren Bootmaker represent the brand’s uncompromising approach to craftsmanship, built through years of study, refinement, and pattern development.
Based on extensive examination of vintage engineer boots from John Lofgren’s personal archive, the design reflects countless revisions and sample builds aimed at achieving the ideal balance of structure, durability, and silhouette. The result is a boot that stands as the centerpiece of the John Lofgren lineup—rooted in heritage but executed with exceptional precision.
The uppers are constructed from Horween Chromexcel leather, known for its rich pull-up character, durability, and ability to develop a deep patina over time. A 10.75" shaft and 1.75" stacked woodsman heel create a classic engineer profile, while brass buckles made in Japan and an embossed padded leather heel pad add refined finishing details.
Built with Goodyear welt construction and USA-made storm welts, the boots are reinforced through heavy single, double, and triple stitching throughout. Underfoot, USA-made Vibram 705 half soles and 700 heels provide dependable traction and longevity, while Japanese-made steel shanks add structure and support.
Made in Japan, these boots embody the highest level of traditional bootmaking—combining vintage inspiration, premium materials, and meticulous construction into a true long-term investment piece.
