This Natural Indigo shirt showcases Samurai’s uncompromising approach to fabric development for Fall/Winter 2025. The textile is woven using natural indigo–dyed Kasuri yarns, creating a striking, streaked stripe pattern with a subtle three-dimensional texture. The irregularity and depth of the pattern are a direct result of the Kasuri dyeing process, where sections of yarn are resist-dyed prior to weaving, allowing the colors to shift and blur organically across the fabric. Finished with a one-wash treatment, the shirt offers a comfortable, broken-in feel from the first wear while retaining the richness of the indigo.

Built with durability and authenticity in mind, the shirt features triple-needle chainstitched construction, double chest pockets, an indigo-dyed button placket, side gussets with chainstitch run-off, and a signature Samurai Union Ticket. Rooted in centuries-old Japanese textile traditions, Kasuri—closely related to Ikat dyeing—has been revered since its early development in Japan around the 13th century.
